CLASSES & LEVELS

CHOREOGRAPHY CLASS

Our classes mainly consist of Choreography Classes because we try to protect the names of the original urban dance styles. We as a dance school want to set a good example that not every class is a urban class.

Each teacher has his own unique style, which often consists of a combination of different styles. The term choreography class gives the teacher creative freedom.

STYLE SPECIFIC CLASS

In for example Afro, Dancehall, Contemporary or Hiphop, we go deeper into the technique and basics of the style.

We have chosen the term influences, so that the teacher is not completely stuck with a certain set of movements, but can be inspired by the style and in the meantime also give it their own unique sauce.

KIDs & JUNIOR DANCE

We have also developed special classes for the kids (6 to 10 years old) and juniors (11 to 15 years old) to prepare them as well as possible for the future.

They are taught many of the basics to develop their skills and enjoy moving to the beat. Who knows what talents will arise from this.

LEVELS

START

This is the perfect way to get acquainted with our beginners class. Every choreographer has his/her own dance style. In a starters class, a lot of attention is paid to a good class structure and explanation of the dance movements. This way you can start slowly to learn how to retain choreography.

Advanced dancers are only allowed to go to Start, provided they take into account that the tempo is low.

intermediate

This level is suitable for dancers who have some experience and are looking to refine their skills. More advanced technique and choreography is offered, with a focus on improving the dancer's execution quality. Students will also learn to develop their own style and add it to the choreography.

On average, an instructor teaches the choreography for 2 weeks, so during week 2 you can practice more on performance and stage presence.

advanced

For experienced dancers looking to bring their skills to a professional level. It is expected that students already have a solid foundation of technique. Students will learn to execute complex and challenging choreography and further develop in all aspects of dance such as cleanliness and performance.

People with a Start level are only allowed to go to Advanced if they enter the class with a training mentality. The teacher will determine whether you can continue to take the lesson.

Freestyle

Freestyle is an open class, where everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. This class is all about discovering yourself and letting go of fears and restrictions.
